Dr. Zhiliang Zhu is a scientist with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and project chair for USGS national ecological carbon sequestration assessment project. His research work focuses on vegetation cover, characterization, and change at local, regional, and global scales is particularly interested in vegetated ecosystems and disturbances. He has 20 years' professional experiences with U.S. Forest Service, Raytheon, and the USGS. He has a BS in Forestry from China, and MS and PhD in Natural Resources from University of Michigan. |
